«Hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown» (Revelation 3:11). What did the pioneers have? Philadelphia kept Christ’s word, and the promise to the overcomer is the seal of the 144,000. Jesus took sinful flesh and never sinned: His divine-human victory can be ours by faith, and that is why Catholics, Protestants and Adventists unite against it. Ellen G. White reminds us: «God has given us a work to do which He does not propose to do for us.» Will you hold fast what the pioneers had, or join those who reject it?
